My name is Mat and I help run deadlantern.com, a horror news and review site that doubles as the hub for Dead Lantern Pictures.

In the coming weeks, this site will be used as a place that I can express opinions about stuff that generally doesn't fit the theme of deadlantern.com. You can expect to find editorials and musings on all sorts of things. Most of it will center around film but I'll cover whatever strikes my fancy. Whether its politics, current news, or various forms of entertainment, you can probably expect to be pissed off at some point in time.

But that's what makes it fun, right?

So, now that I've selected a stereotypically "clever" title that hints at Gothicism and pseudo-hipster sensibilities, it's time to be opinionated. See you soon....
